EAST BRIDGEWATER — The East Bridgewater school construction project advances on budget through spring milestones. The Central School Building Committee unanimously approved March project invoices totaling $726,484.61 for Gilbane, Leftfield, and RDA, with all spending within budget. The project remains on schedule for June 2 submission of 60-percent design documents to estimators, July 31 MSBA submission, and October 31 construction documents submission.
The committee identified solar readiness requirements from the Massachusetts School Building Authority; the 160-kilowatt solar specification will be incorporated at reduced cost compared to preliminary design estimates. A community forum is scheduled for May 6.
