EAST BRIDGEWATER — Commission addresses Millet Cottage replacement concerns. The Historical Commission heard from abutters Bill Dowling and Lindy Snow about a proposed Raised Ranch replacement for the Millet Cottage at 54 Plymouth Street that may not comply with historical district standards, with unresolved questions about property lines and survey needs. Chairman Dale R.
Julius reported coordination with the Mass Historical Commission, Preservation Mass, and the Plymouth Antiquarian Society regarding the property and is contacting Colonial Stone for graveyard work. Members Julius and Josh Sampson are planning marker cleanup. The commission received historical papers from Edward Gill of Pennsylvania and tasked member Dalphina Rogers with researching addresses and distributing materials to appropriate recipients.
