East Bridgewater Patriotic Activities Committee orders flag poles and lights for Memorial Day. Chairman Paul L. Connell reported he has ordered ten additional 9-foot flag poles, new gazebo buntings, and decorative lighting for the town common.
The committee discussed the Veterans Banner Program and a proposed gazebo sound system. Flags will be placed around the common on May 16 and 17. Connell will obtain the names of veterans who passed away in the last year from Chris Buckley for the Memorial Day program.
