Council on Aging approves Nancy Hill to replace Bomar

EAST BRIDGEWATER — Council on Aging approves Nancy Hill as interim member. Chair Dee Dee Rogers led the board to unanimously accept Helen C. Bomar's resignation and approve Hill to complete Bomar's term through June 2027.
Director Susan Prendergast reported the Council's receipt of a State formula grant at $16 per senior age 60 and older, based on the 2020 Census, and noted a new Clerical Union agreement through June 2028. Chair Rogers also reported the Town's ongoing litigation against the State over MBTC compliance.
