Council on Aging approves officer signing authority
Council on Aging · Meeting of April 7, 2026
EAST BRIDGEWATER — Council on Aging unanimously approves signing authority for David Sheedy. The unanimous vote, on motion by Member Kathleen Cavanagh and seconded by Lisa DeAngelo, grants Sheedy authority to execute bills and payroll documents. Director Susan Prendergast reported the council submitted a $16,000 state budget earmark request for dental hygiene services and Grab & Go Meals programs, though approval may be blocked due to East Bridgewater's MBTA non-compliance status.
Programming highlights included a St. Patrick's Day Luncheon with 75 attendees and presentations on travel and artificial intelligence.
