East Bridgewater selects Gilbane as school building construction manager

East Bridgewater hires Gilbane for school construction project. The Central School Building Committee voted unanimously to select Gilbane Building Company as Construction Manager at Risk after the firm scored 7.6 among nine competing proposals in a process weighted 50 percent on interview performance, ahead of Commodore at 6.9 and Lee Kennedy at 6.4. The committee also unanimously approved a $3.2 million amendment to project manager Leftfield and invoices totaling roughly $632,000 for design and engineering services.
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2027 and be complete by September 2028.
