East Bridgewater Library Board approves director contract amendment with raises. The Board unanimously approved an amended contract for Director Karen Urbec providing a 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment for each of the contract's three years. The move came during the Board's July 13 meeting, where five of seven members were present.
The Board also accepted the Director's report, noting the Summer reading program's June 24 kickoff drew 669 attendees and outlining continued work on the ARIS report due August 14 and the need to finalize an Outreach Librarian hire for a pending passport office application.
