Old Colony Joint Transportation Committee approves prior meeting minutes

EAST BRIDGEWATER — Old Colony Joint Transportation Committee holds quarterly planning meeting. The committee unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and received an update that the Old Colony Metropolitan Planning Organization voted February 17 to endorse Amendment 2 to the FFY 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program, reducing funding for a Brockton Area Regional Transit Authority maintenance facility from $2.15 million to $700,000 while keeping total project cost at $2.85 million. The committee heard presentations on a universe of 36 candidate projects for the FFY 2027 Unified Planning Work Program and ongoing coordination with MassDOT to balance the FFY 2027-2031 program against federal fiscal constraints.
