Personnel Policy Committee organizes, identifies gaps
Personnel Policy Review Committee · Meeting of March 26, 2026
East Bridgewater's Personnel Policy Review Committee holds organizational meeting, identifies policy gaps. The eight-member committee unanimously elected Megan Crosby as chair and Melanie Dean as secretary at the March 26 meeting, with all members present. The committee identified priority areas for policy review and recommendation to the Select Board, including inconsistent holiday designations such as Good Friday, lack of step-level pay increases for many non-union positions, and gaps between policies and union contracts on matters such as bereavement benefits.
Members noted that a new wage and compensation study would be required to establish systematic pay increases for non-union employees.
