Recreation Commission approves minutes, discusses playground funding

EAST BRIDGEWATER — The East Bridgewater Recreation Commission voted unanimously Thursday to approve December meeting minutes and authorize payment to United Rentals for porta potty rental. The bulk of discussion focused on a potential Skylar Spagone playground renovation on Hobart Street, facing drainage and infrastructure challenges. Heather Craven of the Sydney Craven Foundation presented funding interest and agreed to develop preliminary planning work for a fuller proposal.
