East Bridgewater Select Board declines additional legal counsel for wire transfer case. The three-member board agreed not to hire outside counsel for the June 1, 2026 wire transfer incident, relying instead on Clifford & Kenny. Vice Chair Katherine Mullen raised concerns about independence, though Chair Carole Julius cited cost and timing challenges, and Clerk Peter Spagone, Jr. noted the town had already engaged independent counsel.
The board also voted unanimously to approve an event permit for a Pilates class on the Town Common.
