Select Board · Meeting of June 8, 2026
EAST BRIDGEWATER — Select Board votes unanimously to reject proposed cellular tower on Washington Street. The two-member board present (Carole Julius, Chair, and Peter Spagone Jr., Clerk) acted after Director of Public Works John Haines raised concerns about aged drinking water wells on the site and potential water supply impacts. The Board also appointed John Haines as Director of Public Works and Megan Crosby as Treasurer/Collector, both for three-year terms starting July 1, 2026.
Additional actions included approving revised sick leave accrual policies and a Mutual Aid Agreement with West Bridgewater for building and inspection services through June 30, 2029.
