EAST BRIDGEWATER — Select Board agrees to review water bill dispute from resident. Colleen Deese of 127 Village Road appeared before the board on January 12 to discuss a quarterly water bill reaching approximately $3,160 after abnormal usage beginning in July. DPW Water Department confirmed the meter was functioning properly and continuous usage ceased after the irrigation system was shut off, indicating it was the source.
The board discussed prior similar situations and a November 30 lien deadline, and agreed to review past precedent and follow up with Ms. Deese regarding any consistent payment actions that may apply.
