East Bridgewater Planning Board approves restaurant expansion and industrial building addresses. The board unanimously approved a plan for an 820-square-foot addition to Sophie's Italian Food for storage and dining with 24 seats; Michael Simonetti, the restaurant owner, is securing additional lot access from Blue Stone Bank and plans to extend hours to 8 p.m. The board also unanimously approved address assignments for Equity Industrial: 224 Highland Street for Building 1 and 220 Highland Street for Building 5.
A zoning map amendment request for B-2 and B-4 changes was continued to February 2, 2026.
