East Bridgewater Planning Board approves Towne Tavern patio expansion. The board unanimously approved a seasonal outdoor patio with 76 seats at Towne Tavern on May 4, 2026, following discussion of site dimensions, parking, fencing, plantings, and traffic flow on Route 18. Vice-Chair Roy Gardner recommended the applicant coordinate with the Fire and Police Departments and Building Commissioner Patrick Franey during construction.
The board also unanimously endorsed a covenant release for 1 Bisson Lane. During discussion, board members declined jurisdiction over a property line dispute between the Per's Path subdivision and an abutter at 74 Bridge Street, recommending legal action instead.
