East Bridgewater Planning Board approves subdivision; advances zoning for May town vote. Board Chair Kevin Reilly's panel unanimously approved a Form A subdivision of 876 Plymouth Street into two street-fronting lots and one estate lot, and unanimously closed ten special engineering accounts. The board tabled Edward Jacobs' request to rezone District 4 from B4 to Business District 2, arguing the current zone has remained largely vacant and B2 would enable low-density commercial development and senior housing.
Principal Assessor Paula Wolfe noted the town may soon acquire a parcel in the district due to tax delinquency, potentially facilitating development. An amended ADU proposal and new MBTA Community District proposal advance toward the May annual town meeting vote.
